Cookie & tracker inventory

Cookie & Tracker Inventory for Websites

Detect cookies, tracker scripts, pixels, and storage signals, classify them by purpose, mark items as reviewed, and generate a cookie declaration for your website.

What it detects

Cookies, tracker scripts, pixels, and local or session storage signals discovered during compliance scans or future runtime checks.

Review before publishing

Unknown or automatically detected items are marked Needs review so your team can confirm category and purpose before they appear in a public declaration.

Generate a cookie declaration

Reviewed items can be exported as Markdown, HTML, or CSV to support cookie policy pages and compliance documentation.

Privacy-first inventory

Cookie values, visitor identifiers, raw IPs, and raw User-Agent strings are not stored. GDPRChecker keeps metadata only.

Works with the GDPR scanner

Run a scan on your verified site, populate inventory, review items, and export a declaration — without treating HTML script labels as browser cookies.

Frequently asked questions

Does Cookie & Tracker Inventory store cookie values?
No. GDPRChecker stores metadata such as names, categories, providers, and purposes. Cookie values are never recorded.
What is the difference between a script label and a browser cookie?
A tracker script detected in HTML is not the same as a Set-Cookie value. The inventory shows the signal type so you can review scripts separately from cookies.
When should an item be marked Needs review?
Automatically detected or unknown items stay in Needs review until your team confirms the category, provider, and purpose.
How do I populate the inventory?
Run a GDPR compliance scan on your verified site in the dashboard. Scanner results can populate inventory items for review and export.
