Not Legal Advice
GDPRChecker is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
Nothing in the Service, documentation, scan results, generated documents, or support communications constitutes legal advice or creates an attorney-client relationship.
Customers remain responsible for legal compliance decisions and should consult qualified legal counsel where appropriate.
No Compliance Guarantee
GDPRChecker provides technical, operational, and informational tools only. It does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee compliance with GDPR, UK GDPR, ePrivacy, CCPA, PIPEDA, Law 25, or any other law or regulation. Users remain solely responsible for determining and maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Automated Scanner Limitations
Scan results and compliance scores are technical signals based on automated inspection. They are not legal certification, audit opinions, or regulatory approval.
Scan results are generated automatically and may not identify every compliance issue.
Scans reflect a snapshot of publicly observable signals and cannot fully assess legal adequacy of your policies, contracts, records, or organizational measures.
Policy Page Limitations
In-product privacy policies, cookie policies, terms, and related pages reflect the information you provide and your site configuration.
Generated documents must be reviewed against your actual processing activities, vendors, jurisdictions, and sector rules before publication or reliance.
Output may not fully match your actual processing activities, industry rules, or local law without your review and updates.
Runtime / Cookie Banner Technical Limitations
Runtime blocking and consent banners depend on correct installation, browser support, tag manager configuration, caching, and customer settings.
Certain website technologies, third-party scripts, browser configurations, and customer implementations may affect the effectiveness of compliance controls.
Third-Party Script Limitations
We do not control third-party vendors you install on your site. Their updates may change cookie behavior, bypass blocking, or introduce new compliance risks without notice.
User Responsibility
You remain responsible for legal compliance decisions, published notices, consent design, vendor management, and responses to data subject requests.
Service Availability and Technical Failures
GDPRChecker makes no guarantee that the Service will operate without interruption, error, delay, or technical malfunction.
Outages, misconfiguration, or delayed updates may affect scans, banners, blocking, or published policy pages.
Jurisdiction-Specific Requirements
Privacy and marketing laws vary by country, sector, and activity. The Service does not automatically apply every jurisdiction-specific requirement without your configuration.
